You've been to multiple practitioners looking for answers and relief for chronic issues, and feel lost in what the current medical system has to offer.
You’re told to reduce your stress or get more sleep, but there are many obstacles in your way.
You may be working with a holistic doctor, like a Naturopath or Functional MD, given new protocols to manage your autoimmune illness or chronic condition, and feel overwhelmed by how much you're being asked to change.
You’re stuck in a rut, cycling back to where you started over and over again. You need support, compassion, and accountability.
You’re longing to partner with someone who can take the time to listen and help connect the dots between current behaviors and what you hope to transform.
You may be:
Living with autoimmunity and chronic illness.
Dealing with inflammation from chronic stress.
Awake at 3am with racing thoughts, then groggy with brain fog the next morning.
Reacting to foods that you were able to eat without issue when you were younger or pre-pregnancy.
Experiencing sadness, anxiety, and mood swings.
A caregiver with limited time to focus on yourself, and sometimes have Thelma & Louise fantasies of running away from it all.
Identify as an empath or highly sensitive person, called “too sensitive” by others.
Imagine, in a few short months:
Turning down the noise on external demands and giving yourself the care you deserve.
Having the energy for what you care most about it.
Waking up feeling rested and able to focus on the day ahead.
Experiencing quicker recovery from flare-ups and a greater capacity to rebound from emotional swings.
Feeling nourished and satiated by food.
Having a dedicated movement practice that supports your current stage of life.
Increased resilience to overstimulation and environmental stress.
Feeling at home in your body is possible.
You can regain a sense of wholeness through connecting to your purpose and inner resources to elevate your quality of life.
In our work together, we’ll co-create a wellness plan that is tailored to your unique values, desires, and needs. We’ll get down to the root of the behaviors you would like to transform.
Hi, I’m Stephanie Sandleben, Women’s Health Coach and Pelvic Floor Yoga Expert
A decade of living with autoimmune and chronic illness while parenting two kids is the foundation of my education in wellness.
I have 20+ years teaching mind-body-spirit practices like yoga, reiki, and meditation, as well as a certification as a Functional Medicine Health Coach (FMCHC).
I’m an expert in behavior change and am trained in the principles of Functional Medicine, which takes into account the whole person and how your mental, physical, and spiritual wellness affects your physical health.
Our Main Areas of Focus are:
-
Stress
Stress is usually identified as the cause of many chronic health issues in modern life, yet everybody experiences stress differently.
Together we will:
Get honest about what feels overwhelming.
Create healthy boundaries.
Increase resilience through self-care practices.
-
Sleep & Rest
How many times have you heard: “you need more sleep”? If you’re parenting small children, working long hours, or just trying to keep afloat in non-stop hustle culture, deep sleep may be increasingly elusive.
Together we will:
Uncover your baseline sleeping patterns.
Create rituals around bedtime that encourage deeper and more restful nights.
Investigate obstacles disrupting your sleep.
-
Movement
Movement is how we experience the world through our bodies and there are so many ways to nurture this aspect of wellness.
Together we will:
Find the movement practice that lights you up and brings you joy.
Create a movement practice to weave into your unique lifestyle.
Troubleshoot obstacles to your movement practice (because they always come up!).
-
Food
What we eat serves many functions beyond sustenance alone.
Food is how we connect to our culture, our family and friends. Food can be how we celebrate and how we seek comfort. Food is medicine and impacts our energy, mood, and mental health.
Together we will:
Explore your feelings and concerns about your current nutrition.
Create awareness through completing a food and lifestyle journal.
Create an accessible elimination diet to understand which foods are causing discomfort.
Optimize your nutrition to support motherhood, postpartum, perimenopause, and postmenopause.
-
Relationships & Connection
Our connection to our environment and loved ones is an integral piece of our wellness.
Most of us are separated from the cyclical rhythms of nature and a model that normalizes community care.
The myth of “doing it all on our own” creates an unnecessary burden during times when we most need help.
Together we will:
Examine your circle of support and your relationship to receiving help.
Explore your connection to the land and time in nature.
Brainstorm ways to incorporate support whether it’s with nature or with people in your community.
-
Spirituality
Spirituality can be described as a feeling, sense, or belief that there is something greater than oneself; something beyond our sensory experiences that connects us to a deeper sense of being.
Knowing that our lives have significance beyond our everyday existence can offer a sense of strength and resilience when experiencing difficulties.
Together we will:
Explore your connection to your spirituality.
Uncover what provides you a sense of meaning and purpose.
Brainstorm ways to weave in your spiritual values and meaning into your everyday life.
Transformation takes time, and healing requires consistency.

“Women have a higher incidence and prevalence of autoimmune diseases than men, and 85% or more patients of multiple autoimmune diseases are female.”
From Autoimmune Disease in Women: Endocrine Transition and Risk Across the Lifespan
By Maunil K. Desai and Roberta Diaz Brinton
Culturally, there’s a lack of guidance and support during the hormonally transitional times we move through as women. Across puberty, postpartum, perimenopause, and menopause we experience significant endocrinological shifts that impact both our short and long-term health.
Women struggling with mysterious symptoms often see multiple care providers before receiving an accurate diagnosis. Usually, they are dismissed and told that their symptoms are “in their heads”. There’s still much to learn about the causes of autoimmune disease, especially the increase in numbers for women, but research points to a combination of genetic, hormonal, and environmental factors involved in triggering the onset of autoimmune disease.
*All bodies have stories and intersections, regardless of one's gender identity, and my work supports embodied healing. While I focus on women's health, I invite trans & non-binary individuals to work with me if their needs align with my offerings.
